Koichiro is a well-known scholar and professor in the area of leadership development and change management in Japan. He owns the MBB (Management by Belief®) theory which is a revolutionary leadership theory originated in Japan.

Koichiro has spent 19 years in Nissan Motor Company, mainly in its Human Resources department. He assumed various positions such as the HR strategy section in the Nissan headquarters, Nissan Europe located in Amsterdam, the Yokohama engine plant, the Nissan Technical Center. 

He is also the Dean of Tama Graduate University Business School.

Koichiro received his degree in International Relations from the University of Tokyo. He also holds a Master’s Degree in Business Management from Oxford University.
