Job Responsibilities
- Monitor market competitive trends in Compensation and Benefits
- Conduct and participate in surveys, and assure that required records and reports are
maintained and issued
- Draft and propose salary policy lines, effective benefits programs, sales incentives, IVR and
other special payment plans - Ensure the smooth implementation of compensation and benefits program through coordination with stakeholders, mainly the company's Business Service division and HRBPs, including, but not limited to:
- Collect and deliver the information regarding C&B programs
- Identify the operational issues from the new C&B programs, propose and implement solutions
- Deliver training and support HRBPs to communicate and implement C&B programs properly
- Conduct, propose and ensure implementation of the annual salary review and IVR of the
Bonuses processes- Prepare and propose Japan's salary budget
- Manage Year End Cycle activities
- Validate and cleanse compensation data in Workday
- Develop and implement local processes
- Train managers and HR members
- Supports to proceed with LTI processes in Japan
- Improve the global HR tools, especially Workday
- Provide consultation to HRBPs on compensation treatment
- Develop managers' capability in understanding compensation and benefits through HRBP,
Training programs, manuals, communication - Manages equity issues
- Liaise C&B matters across Global, Region, and Local stakeholders
- Lead the sub-projects of key strategic C&B projects, including global grading, new compensation and benefits program, introduction of new tool

Skills and Qualifications
- At least 5 years of C&B Experience (Survey, Compensation Cycle, Equity Program)
- English: (Required Level: Can participate in conference calls)
- Excel: Strong Excel Skills (Required Skill: designing spreadsheet based on objectives, data
validation process with conditional logic, DB functions, Vlookup) - Microsoft Office other than Excel: Standard business level
- Human Resources Expertise: Basic Understanding in Compensation Cycle, Human Resources
Policy, Income Tax, Social Insurances, and Labor Law in Japan - Analytical Thinking (Required Level: Can connect the policy and process)
- Problem Solving (Required Level: Can draft feasible proposals for operational and tactical issues)
- Learning Agility (Required Level: Read materials proactively, such as articles on HR-related
topics and C&B policy) - Teamwork (Required Level: Understand the situation of other functions)
- Planning Ahead (Required Level: Can break down big tasks into small tasks and outline the key milestones)
- Adherence to Correctness (Required Level: Can establish the validation process, improvements with documentation)
