The Role

Based in Tokyo, Japan you will report to the C&B manager in Shanghai while serving as an advisor to the HR management and partners on all compensation & benefit related matters performing deep analysis of existing programs. You will assist in the development and implementation of new programs/plans and changes of existing programs/plans and procedures while will working closely with the Talent Acquisition team to address critical attraction and retention issues amid the dynamic climate of external markets to ensure it aligns with the philosophy and strategy for Total Rewards. You will also act as the primary contact for any outsourcing to external consulting firms for annual market surveys and analysis.  

The Candidate

This is a great opportunity for HR who have 3-5 years of experience in payroll, operation and rewards who are ready for the next career move towards Compensation & Benefits Specialist. You must have a strong understanding of broad-based compensation programs and experience working in a highly matrixed environment. You must ideally be able to speak at least two of English, Japanese, Chinese or have working knowledge of APAC countries. The individual must be highly motivated with great skill in problem solving and be client-oriented.
