The Client

Our client is an international leader in the medical equipment field with a mission to improve patient care. Previously part of a leading Fortune 500 pharmaceutical company, they have recently joined another Fortune 500 technology conglomerate. We are delighted to be working with this company as they begin a new and exciting chapter transforming their departments with great innovation, integrity, and strength. 

The Role

Primarily based in the Japan branch which currently has over 250 employees. You will be playing an integral role in building the company culture post-integration and streamlining the process in establishing new policies and programs. While you will receive support from a COE team, you will report directly to the APAC HR Director in Shanghai and work along business leaders in a complex matrix structure. There is potential for the role to be expanded globally if the candidate so desires.  

The Candidate

A brilliant opportunity for an experienced and confident HRBP who is looking for a step-up in their career and willing to take up the challenge of building company culture and establishing HR program and policies in a post-integration environment. This individual must have expertise in employee relations, organization, and talent development. You must have impressive communication skills with abilities to adapt to change quickly and work effectively in teams. Candidates with experience working abroad or are open-minded to the idea are hugely favored.
