Job Overview
  • Co-work with Head of Talent and Diversity for deploying all TA projects, Communications, and TA Operation initiatives mainly in Japan and work in close collaboration with the Regional TA & HR Leaders
  • Able to independently provide strategic support, advice and handle
    projects with minimal supervision
  • Provide innovative solutions and suggestions to related TA operations
    including coordination on Workday and HR evolution initiatives

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop strategies for candidate pipeline to build a more diverse talent mix
    • Develop sustainable talent acquisition and hiring plans and strategies
    • Support Talent Head to build a stronger leadership pipeline focusing on senior roles and key
      roles’ succession planning, to bring in more candidates who have new capabilities or
      strengthen emerging capabilities such as digital, data analysis as well as change leadership
    • Design, plan and execute employer branding activities
    • Improve and communicate employees to progress internal mobility beyond the country
    • Suggest measures for improving employee retention
    • Maintain strong relationships with the global talent team and external vendors to keep good
      pipelining
    • Plan strategy and action to keep warming all potential candidates for future hiring needs,
      especially senior female candidates

  • Operational Excellence and Reporting
    • Support Talent Head on Critical Hire project and Senior position recruitment
    • Liaise with the global TA network for data submission and all global reporting
    • Managing data analysis, synthesizing, effectively producing and generating HR/TA projects
      progress reports
    • Participate in Global TA Ops meeting to collaborate and align with global guidance and to input useful insights from Japan as a part of the Global network

  • Project Management
    • Take lead on specific HR Transformation projects and interventions, talent-related projects
      based on Talent Head’s request
    • Track, provide high-quality services of project management for Talent Acquisition initiatives & ensure high quality & on-time delivery
    • Timely identify potential risks and formulate and drive mitigation solutions
    • Effectively communicate and align with regional HR to ensure the success of collaborative
      projects

  • RPO management
    • Support Talent Head on RPO management (including temp desk) and train RPO recruiters to
      use Workday appropriately so as to improve data quality
    • Take lead on Workday's new module launch or update, collaborate with the global TA team
      and SBS to avoid any operational risk
    • Provide support in change management, status reporting, communication, timely execution
      for recruitment module launch
    • Take ownership to keep high-quality service leben and escalate timely necessary issues or
      potential risks with solutions.
Skills and Qualifications

  • Language: Excellent English (written and spoken) and Japanese
  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree. MBA is a plus. Major HR, communications or business-related disciplines or Computer Science/IT
    • Graduates from global business school; good experience working across borders and
      international exposure is a plus
  • Experience & knowledge:
    • Minimum 10 years of working experience, preferable from with exposure in a multinational
      company
    • Previous experience in a consulting firm or an internal recruiting exposed environment
    • Effective stakeholder management with various stakeholders including global network and
      interpersonal communications, with strong ownership
    • Ability to plan, set priorities and work under pressure to meet deadlines, at times under
      uncertainty, fast pace
    • Deep knowledge of recruitment processes and related tools
    • Good experiences in project management, ability in managing projects independently
    • Organized, attention to detail, analytical and pragmatic in problem-solving and resources
      planning
    • Excellent MS Office skills
    • High-level PPT skills, both technically and logically
