Job Responsibilities
- Accountable for credible P&O HRBP to leaders, managers and associates, offering advice and
guidance. - Accountable for the execution of local implementation of large-scale organizational and day-to-
day organizational structure changes, in line with country regulations / policies. Accountable for the overall performance of the HRBP Teams to ensure successful partnering to all company divisions. - Act as a diplomat, negotiator and coach to align the agendas of the business, CTS (shared
service) and the P&O function. - Activate business ownership and accountability of diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives.
- Clarify HRBP team priorities linked to purpose and strategy, helping collaborate with other
teams, manage across the matrix, remove obstacles and overcome silos. - Collaborate with other HRBP Heads in other countries, regions and clusters to maintain a
consistent standard globally. - Lead alignment and harmonization of local regulations with P&O Board; monitors compliance,
risk management and review P&O controls working with HRBP team. - Lead the HRBP team to ensure successful country transitions and integrations including effective change management and business continuity.
- Champion culture and support implementation of corporate initiatives.

Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or above in a relevant field
- Business level fluency in both Japanese and English
- Minimum 15 years of working experience with at least 3-5 years of leading a team in a strategic HR function
- Experience building cross-functional partnerships and influencing stakeholders across the
organization - Experience with leading and implementation of large transformational initiatives in a MNC setup
- Demonstrated strong leadership with a pragmatic mindset and is able to provide integrated
solutions according to business needs
