HRBP Leader Japan - Global Technology Company

The Company

One of the leading global technology company in car sharing platform has launched its service in Tokyo and Kyoto in 2018, and the service will expand to more than 10 cities in Japan including Sapporo and Hokkaido. The company is famous for its innovative AI technology which enables the fastest and cheapest transportation for its customers. In Japan they currently have about 100 employees, most of them are secondment from the JV partner, one of the biggest venture investments in the world. As their business are expected to grow dramatically with the upcoming 2020 Tokyo Olympics, they are looking for a strong HRBP who can support their business growth in Japan.

The Role

Responsibilities: 
·Be a partner with international business department, understand business strategy and promote effective planning and implementation of human resource strategy in business department; 
·Establish the system of Japan human resources policies and processes; 
·Formulate organizational change plans and relevant human resources policies to ensure the smooth implementation of the change; 
·Formulate talent development plans, drive the development of talents in organizations and improve the leadership ability of department managers; 
·Build a cohesive corporate culture.

The Individual

Qualifications: 
·Bachelor's degree or above, at least 8 years of HR experience, especially as the business partner, overseas study or working experience is preferred; 
·Excellent English skills in listening, speaking, reading, writing and translating, familiar with different overseas culture; 
·People familiar with Japan’s human resource policy and laws and regulations are preferred; 
·Highly organized and action-oriented, working experience in a startup or high growth environment is preferred.
