HR Country Manager – US Healthcare & Supply Chain Company

This is an opportunity to join the Japan leadership team as HR Manager responsible for all our people in this country. Responsible for the employment experience of all our Japan colleagues based across the Tokyo and Osaka offices, you’ll partner closely with the Country Manager as well as the finance team and all other functions to implement local and regional HR strategies and ensure the execution of mission-critical processes such as payroll, talent acquisition, talent development, and employee relations.

This individual must have 5-7 years of directly related and progressively responsible experience in human resources, preferably in recruitment and staffing function. Have the experience of a minimum degree program or equivalent in business administration and human resources. Have strong verbal and written communication skills in Japanese and English (TOEIC Level: 750-800).
The individual must be adept at handling sensitive and confidential situations and have strong interpersonal skills. Must have a solid knowledge of relevant legislation, politics, and regulations. Have proven experience in payroll processing, data collection, entry, and reporting with great attention to detail. Ability to resolve associate issues quickly and efficiently, and the ability to represent a positive and professional image. Familiar with Japan employment laws. The individual must have computer savvy with a strong working knowledge of relevant software e.g. Microsoft applications, Workday, etc.
